Mathew K. Mathai is the CEO of Sienna’s Aerospace Division. He brings 30 years of manufacturing experience, with a focus on Lean and Six Sigma, to this growing sector of Sienna’s Global businesses which includes Avalon Technologies & Services and AvATAR.
Prior to joining Sienna, he served as the COO of American LaFrance and has held several senior executive level positions in various industries. He has set-up Greenfield manufacturing facilities in the US, Holland, Singapore and India and has two patents including a proprietary process for the manufacture of complex Vanes and Stator Assemblies used in Jet Engines.
He received his Undergraduate Engineering degree, graduating with honors, from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology and has a Masters in ME from FDU in New Jersey.
Mr. Mathai serves on the Board of Directors for Avalon Technology Services (ATS).
Donald R. Ball
President
Donald R. Ball is the President of Sienna’s Aerospace Division. Don, an accomplished management executive, joined AvATAR from BHM-Partners Consulting, where he was a partner with the firm. Prior to BHM, Don was the Vice President of Global Supply Chain with American LaFrance.
Prior to American LaFrance, Don was the Sr. Director of Global Supply Management at Ventana Medical Systems Inc. He also served in multiple management capacities for Hill-Rom Inc. both in Operations and Global Supply. Additionally, Don worked for several divisions of Bristol Myers-Squibb after starting his career at Allied-Signal Aerospace. Don earned a bachelor's degree in Operations Management from National University in San Diego, CA and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
Mr. Ball also serves on the Board of Directors for Avalon Technology Services (ATS).
